Southern Downs Cricket Trials

Last week four of our lads attended the Southern Downs Cricket Trials at Slade Park. Unfortunately, the boys were a little off the pace and missed out on selection. We commend Tanner Henley, William Angus, James Bourke and Colby Miller on their efforts and look forward watching them on their cricketing journey. Mr Cahal Davis attended with the lads and was impressed with the potential displayed. His assistance and expertise was greatly appreciated by the convenor Mr Roy Nott of Allora State School.

Junior Cricket – Term 4

Registrations are open for Junior Cricket and we are having training next Wednesday afternoon to start gathering the troops to see how many boys we have for Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 Teams this summer. All boys are welcome from age 9 years and up this year. Please contact Mr Bradbury via SEQTA if you are interested.

Warwick Senior Netball Finals

Monday 7 September will see our Junior and Senior Netball Teams play off in the Grand Final of D Grade and B Grade respectively. The Junior team tip off at 6.00pm and the Senior team tip off at 7.00pm. Unfortunately, due to COVID Restrictions at the WIRAC spectators are not able to attend. We wish the girls all the very best for a successful end to their short but intense season.

Term 4 SCOTS Junior Touch Competition

A decision is yet to be made on the conduct of our regular SCOTS Touch Competition in Term 4 due to COVID requirements. We are in deep discussions at the moment to ascertain whether or not it is viable to host the event in 2020 and hope to have an answer for our school and local community in the near future.
