Primary School Hockey Competition

Congratulations to SCOTS Green who, after the season was curtailed early due to the current virus outbreak, has been named champions after the rounds completed.

Well done to all students from both teams who played in the competition. It was a pleasure watching all players improve and give their best each game, and I thoroughly enjoyed coaching them with assistance from Mrs Grayson.

Attached is a photo of Nathanael, Tim and Lachlan receiving the trophy at this week at Arranmore Hockey on behalf of the College.  We will present the team with their medallions and the trophy at the next available assembly which will hopefully now be in Term 2 when we eventually return to school.

A big thank you once again to Mrs Angela Groves of WHA for organising the competition for the students of Warwick and District schools.

Full cancellation of School Sport Australia Championships

Earlier this week I reported that all School Sport Australia National Championships have unfortunately been cancelled for 2020. It is still the intention of Queensland School Sport to recommence, if possible, their representative sport program when all suspensions are lifted. I cannot speculate on what that will look like but we will advise as soon as we are able to do so.
