From Girls Boarding

Molly Turnbull and Heidi Robson | Girls Boarding Captains

Many would know that we are lucky to share our boarding house with two Gap Students for the year.  At the beginning of 2020, Hannah Wenborn and Lisa McKenzie joined our ranks and were thoroughly enjoying their roles until COVID lockdown meant the girls would return to South Africa.  Lisa re-joined her family in March, but Hannah’s flight was cancelled at the last minute which meant that she was unable to go home to her family.

Fortunately for us, Hannah is here for the rest of the year as originally intended and this Term, we are lucky to welcome Taylor Gilbert, a fellow South African who is also here for the remainder of their ‘gap year’.

We quizzed our Gap Tutors to learn a little more about their interests and how they’ve settled into SCOTS life.
