National Day of Action

On Friday 16th March SCOTS PGC College Staff and Students will support the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence along with 3000 other schools across Australia.

The National Day of Action is an opportunity for Australian schools to collaboratively engage students to imagine a world free from bullying.  As a whole College from Prep – Year 12, we will dedicate time throughout the day on Friday 16th March, to engage the students in activities to help understand what bullying is, the different types of bullying, practical strategies for students, social and emotional learning and how to continue to develop respectful relationships.

The wellbeing of our students and the wider school community is central in the College’s efforts to create a safe and positive environment for everyone. To help show our support, students and staff will be given orange ribbons to wear to help highlight the importance of standing together.  We hope you’ll join us in supporting this important day.
