Swimming News

Border District Swimming last week was a huge success for the students of SCOTS PGC College. At the conclusion of the carnival SCOTS ran away with Girls Aggregate, Boys Aggregate, Overall Aggregate and the Percentage Trophy. We were the best represented school at the carnival and the students acquitted themselves admirably both in and out of the water.

Special mention must go to Tom Winter (Open) and William Gilmore (U15) for gaining the Age champion in their respective age groups on the day. Some participants of our Senior Swim Team now looks to tackle the Darling Downs event next week where we have 5 competitors who have qualified for events.

The Junior Swim Team will contest the Southern Downs Trials this Friday with some 20 odd swimmers having qualified to attend this event. Details have been forwarded for participants through SEQTA.
