Krystal Petersen – Congratulations to Year 7 student Krystal Petersen (pictured above) who recently played in the U12 State Hockey in Cairns. The Darling Downs team came fourth at the State Championships and Krystal received player of the match against MET North.

Ewan McFarland – Ewan (Year 9) competed at Queensland School Sports 10-19Yrs Cross Country Championship at Maroochydore over the weekend where he finished 48th in a very hot field. He gained valuable experience at this level where he found out he has to be much faster at the beginning of his races. As a member of the Darling Downs Team, he was an exemplary student and represented the College and his family admirably through his attitude and behaviour at all times. Ewan heads off to the Queensland School Sports 10-19Yrs Orienteering Championship this coming weekend and we wish him well.
Darling Downs Rugby –  In other news our Darling Downs 15yrs and Under Rugby Union representatives head off to contest the Queensland School Sports 15yrs Rugby Union Championship in Brisbane with the opportunity of gaining selection in the Queensland 15yrs teams selected by Queensland Rugby at the conclusion of the championship. We wish Will Gilmore, Beau Kendall, Buchanan Titus, Willem Wiid, and Bailey Steel (Fowler all the very best for a successful championship.
