Cattle Club continue their success at Glen Innes Show

A very early start for our Cattle Club team last Friday saw us arriving just in time for the Junior Judging events. Thrown in the deep end, our young cattle enthusiasts were made to judge everything from sheep to grain.  It was pleasing to see our club members quickly adapt to their surroundings and focus on assessing and judging what they were presented.  Clay Armstrong achieved a 2nd place in the Merino sheep judging and 3rd place in the meat sheep judging.  This was a fantastic effort given there were 68 competitors vying for a place.

In the afternoon events, our students competed in the Cattle Paraders and Junior Beef Cattle Judging events. Special congratulations to Mackenzie Taylor who achieved 1st place in the 13-18 years Paraders and Georgia Mulcahy, who placed 2nd in the Under 13 years Paraders. Well done to Arena Wheeler, who placed 3rd in the Beef Cattle Young Judges competition.
